I HAVE A 1993 BLAZER S-10, 4 X 4, AUTO TRANS WITH 4.3 V-6 MFI. THE ENGINE IS A TRANSPLANT FROM 3 YRS AGO AND HAS PERFORMED WELL. I AM STARTING TO HAVE SOME PROBLEMS HERE LATELY WITH LITTLE THINGS. MY CONCERN RIGHT NOW IS WHEN I START THE TRUCK AND PUT IT INTO THE O/D GEAR LOCATION AND PRESS THE ACCELERATOR, IT ACTS LIKE A MANUAL TRANS-SLIPPING THE CLUTCH-FOR 4-5 SECONDS AND BEGINS TO "CATCH" AND START TO MOVE AS NORMAL. IF I AM DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND SHUT OFF THE ENGINE AND COAST, IT DOES THE SAME THING WHEN I START IT UP AND PUT IT IN GEAR. I KNOW THE TRANS HAS SENSORS- I JUST REPLACED THE VSS ABOUT 2 MTHS AGO FOR POSTED PROBLEMS ABOUT SPEED AND "KICK-DOWNf" TO LOWER GEAR (PROBLEM SOLVED). I AM WONDERING IF THE PROBLEM COULD BE IN THE TORQUE CONVERTER SYSTEM. I HAVE READ ABOUT TC "DRAINBACK" WHEN ENGINE IS OFF. I HAVE FELT THAT THIS IS MY PROBLEM. IS THERE A WAY TO CURE OR PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING? ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANX
