Trans swap Sign In

i have a 1970 gto 4speed car that I put a Borg Warner t10 out of a 1980 camero in .the problem I am having is the rear mount that should go on this car is to big.The tail shaft almost shots the floor.it needs to have a mount that is 3/4 - 1 " in height . Does anyone have a solution?

There aren't too many variations of that trans mount. The mods may have to be made to the crossmember.

I second that. A mount only an inch tall wouldn't have room for the dampening material. It would be a rigid mount. Build a crossmember with more drop to compensate or modify the one you have to do the same purpose. Make sure whatever you do that it will also clear whatever exhaust you plan to run on this.
