So i got a 1983 F150 with a 300 straight six with a Manual trans, As I was getting on the Freeway the other day I was shifting from 3rd to 4th and as i gave it gas to catch up to speed, the engine revved but it was almost like i had it in neutral, so i let off and gradually gave it gas and it was as if nothing was wrong, what would cause that?.....Would it be bad fluids, or something to do with my clutch?....Any Help would be greatly apreciated!

You may have a clutch going or you may not have had it all the way in gear. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
