Look underneath the truck. On the left side of the transmission the shifter cable connects to the transmission manual lever. Inspect that and make sure it is installed properly. Make sure you have the parking brake or a wheel chocked in case the truck isn't in park. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

How did you repair it? Was the plastic insert in the cable end broken? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
