I have a chry concord, 1995 auto tran v-6, that jams in reverse only. I can rock it back out and drive works fine. Checked the shift cable on the strng clmn, not clamped - fixed. shifts right but still sticks in rev. I read another message that sounded similar to this on an older Chry., it worked fine in all gears except low forward gear - and would not upshift to 2nd or 3rd. That fix had something to do with some electronic shifter celonoids, and changing the one mentioned corrected the issue. Could this also be coming from that, or would this be something different? The car was working fine, but had a slight issue with the trans not shifting down to the lower forward gears, but that was due to the cable being loose and has nothing to do with the trans hanging up in reverse only. When it does stick in reverse, I can't shift the shifter back into park to get the key out, so I have to rock the car to get the trans unstuck before I can put it in Park and remove the key. Doesn't anyone have any ideas on this one?
