1997 ford f150 4.6L 4wd 5 speed. It has a brand new clutch kit and slave cylinder and the clutch will not engage. we bled and bled and still no clutch can you give advice?

These things can be a nightmare to bleed. BTDT. It's possible that you've got a problem with the clutch master cylinder. Try bleeding it, first, then continue to the slave. Loren SW Washington

Pardon my ignorance, but do you mean that the truck will not move when running and in gear? Or that you can't get it into gear with the engine running? Loren SW Washington

More than likely, it is a hydraulic problem, such as air still in the system or a bad master cylinder. It is possible that something went wrong on the disc/pressure plate install, but unlikely. Loren SW Washington
