My 1996 Olds Regency 98 has approx 100,000 miles. one owner.. The trans is shuttering whild driving. It doesent matter if in overdrive or in drive, still shutters. I hade the tranny serviced (they flushed the tranny and installed new fluid at about $300.00) That solved the problem for about 600 miles. Now it is doing the shuttering again..I am thing torgue convertor needs replaced. ??? Help Please

daddiogregg; $300. ? Flush, fluid, filter? Wow. We charge about 1/2 that. (probably less on a GM which uses Dex) Sorry, that just got to me. Trans. T/C shudder. I'm not an advocate of additives, but they do sell them for just this problem. From what I've heard, you may get lucky. At this point, it might be worth a try. Find a reputable trans. shop for a second opinion. Could be a solenoid problem. Check with friends/relatives/enemies/BBB for a trans. shop that will give you an honest opinion of what's going on.
