Recently was backed into had repairs done to my car and my radiator was replaced about a month later the engine light came on and it seemed like i lost a lot of power, was like the car was missing gears had to get the rpm's up to 2700 before the car would move.....so when i took the car in to see about the engine light being on this code came up PO705 saying the problem is the transmission range switch....i'm wondering if this switch could have been effected during the repairs?Unsure any help would be appreciated thanks

Have you checked the transmission fluid level? I don't think a range switch problem would cause no engagement until you rev the engine up to 2700 rpm.

Might want to have it to towed to a transmission shop and have them check it out. They will probably run some diagnostics and a line pressure check on it to see what is going on.
