2000 ford windstar, 3.8L Was driving home and all of a sudden it started making noise. Sounded like it was the cowling from radiator hitting fanblade. the more gas i gave it the louder and faster it would go(noise). stopped in parking lot and put it in park and still made noise. Thought gearshift lever was broke. It gets louder when you just sit there. walked home to get my other van to pull it, got back cranked it up, no sound, (for a few seconds) then started again. It sounds like the drive shaft is still turning when your sitting there but arent going anywhere. Would this be cv joint not in all the way,or am I getting a new transmission
