subaru wagon making bad sound

1991 Subaru Legacy wagon 170K Automatic AWD
Car started making a loud clunking noise coming from the rear area. It only did it when going over 30mph. Does not do it when idling or when revving in park. Stops doing it when I let off the gas and coast. Engine runs smooth and cool otherwise.

Katy; Better have the rear axles and differential looked at. Hopefully, it's just a CV or U-joint.
