tranny probs, i think	Sign In

i have a 06 ford f150.

its acting like it doesnt want to shift into gear and when i hit about 25-30mph it shakes back and forth like crazy, almost like its stuck.

im guessing tranny but anyone else got anything

Could use engine size/type as it could be engine struggling such that an upshift isn't ready.

2006 = You will have plenty of items all about engine controls and transmission controls controlled and monitored by computer. If this engine was running perfectly smooth and proper but just at that speed and shift point could makes guesses but high end code readings with #s are going to save a lot of wasted guesswork. Don't let it do this for long or anymore at all AYOR of adding to the problem,
