I have a 1999 Nissan frontier v6 3.3 liter. 200.000 miles. I have a rod bearing going bad. I was wanting to know if I could access the rods by going under the oil pan.

Yes, you can get access to the rods by removing the oil pan.

You can access the rod bearing but you can't completely remove the rod. That comes out the top.
