Hello, Here is my problem. I was in the auto body field for many years. from 1984 until 2001. I fell and wiped myself out. Now I am trying to do some body work and they dont sell lacquer primer surfacer or the thinners for it in my area anymore. Its to cold to spray out side, my shop isnt completed so I dont want to spray a high tesh primer in there. Besides i dont want to have to buy an expensive mask to spray it, for I cant work every day, my health isnt that great. With the lacquer primer I can spray with out fear of over spray over every thing and no need for the expensive mask as of yet. My question is, how do I get lacquer primer, or what other alliterative are there? keep in mind i am in Montana in a town of 2500 people so not all products are available to me. Just so you understand, my shop is 30 by 62, i started building it a year ago, it is not finished yet and there is stuff all over, so covering every thing up is a hard thing to do,, so over spray is a real problem right now. Spraying out side right now is a tough option right now as well. Any help sure would be great. IF you know what products are available to replace the lacquer primer or where to get lacquer primer and thinners, thanks.

Not my trade and know enough about it to be scared! Not sure what would work. Guy named Mike at 978-568-1250 which is Case Auto Body in Hudson, MA. Bob Case is owner. We do NOT totally heat shops here but do tend to keep them above freezing temps. There has to be a way as it's all done here all the time and I can't speak "Jack" about exactly what they do. Good luck. Bet they would talk to you, T
