I have a 95' Honda Civic EX with 1.6 Vtec motor. What are some inexpensive ways to get more power for civic?

Possible minimal power increase with a K&W air intake filter system but it's not a car make for power to start with, T

How much $ do you want to spend? You can increase the power of any engine, however, as power increases reliability decreases. Manufacturers are darn good at producing engines with high horse power per cubic inch while maintaining reliability. An exhaust header is a good way to get a little horse power. How about nitrous oxide. It will make your little Honda scream..... till the engine comes apart. sig removed

Can someone enlighten me as to why anyone cares about a grocery getter having power when this was done, finito, in the 60s with cars that could eat this for lunch and spit it out as scrap without so much as a misfire! T

No argument - I'm an old phart! When we wanted earth shattering power it did cost some fuel. Had some cars that had over 400 more HP than that could even have and do 9 sec 1/4 miles and ZERO to 60 in 4.something seconds! It a freaking Civic - not a dragster. High end performance is available with a Subaru WRX something. Civics were never intended for performance and can't handle it anyway so it's a waste, IMO, T
