I have a 92 5L ford Need to replace the pick up in the distributer. Do I have to pull the dist. out or can it be done from the top end & still in the engine???? Any tricks in accomplishing this???? Thanks in advance. Cheers!!

You are going to have to remove the distributor. Just mark the distributor at 2 places. One where it is sitting, and one where the gears start to mesh. Then when you install it, line those marks up and it will be an easy timing adjustment. Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
