Not sure of location but probably on frame with shield. Probably requires a "spring lock" tool to remove - if so not a big expense for the tool but those work better with some WD-40 or something similar to behave,

Another trick is to take the gas cap off and pull the fuel pump relay while the engine is running. After the engine stalls out, you shouldn't have to worry about having a gusher of gas spraying out all over you when you remove the lines. Don't lay underneath the fuel filter when you pull the lines either...unless you like the taste and feel of gasoline.

Should be located right on the driver side front door on the inside of the frame.. you will need a spring clip tool.

I thought these used the U style retainer on the fuel filter.

So i looked at Autozones site and they show it that way.

If this is your style,no tool is needed, just remove those clips and slide the lines off....use new clips, should come with new filter.

Yea, that looks right glancing at it. Thanks for all you guys input. I can just kill the pump on the emergency kill switch right? Let it run out of gas in line and have not spillage. Sound right to u?

according to ford one end is spring clip and the other side is C clip.. but wouldn't be the first time it's wrong.. alot of times they will give those clips with the filter since they will fit several applications.
