By now I guess everybody knows about more leverage. Trying to get a wheel nut off. Use a breaker bar and an impact socket ( do not use regular sockets and ratchet type wrenches). Put a section of pipe over the end of the breaker bar to get more leverage. Try to use your foot to push down with, watch out for the possabillity of the pipe flying back at you. There are also other risks. I once used this on a PU truck to get the impeller nut off . When I pushed down on the section of pipe, it turned the impeller shaft turn ing the rear wheels and moving the truck forward.
