tire question Sign In

Hi. I recently had a flat and put a brand new tire on the front driver side but the front passenger side is partially bald as if it were left on the car without being rotated or misalined. Will this affect the good tire? thanks

Re: tire question Sign In

On two wheel drive cars it's really best to do them in pairs. It does affect the way vehicle will handle and if one mostly gone and one new they aren't rotating at the same speed. Could fool up ABS. Basic answer is YES it likely will shorten life of the new one IMO.

Same brand and size,

T
