upper intake 96 5.7 vortec

96 gmc 5.7 vortec, removed all fasteners on upper intake, can't get it off, loose enough to move around but won't come off, am I missing something? Thanks for your time.

The main connection for the fuel injection unit need to be release from the plenum to get it off.
If you are tracing a fuel problem then it needs to come off. If you are doing engine work or just replacing the intake manifold gasket it doesn't need to come off, you can remove the intake manifold & plenum as one unit.......
