1951 chevy truck curiousity

Hello out there . I am hoping to gain some knowledge. I recently inherited a 1951 Chevy pick-up truck. I don't know a lot about it. Other than it was drove to where it has been sitting. I do know it is a 1 ton, with a 137 inch wheelbase and it's all original. I am really interested in selling this vehicle. But first I need to know what the key points buyers look for when purchasing something like this. What is it they want to know? AND. Where do I find this information?

Is this a fully restored vehicle?

It probably wouldn't be worth much at all. Right now if someone were considering restoring it, they would be looking for how original the truck is and whether it's the original engine or not. If it's been sitting outside, it may have deteriorated to the point of being worth nothing but parts and even that would depend on the condition of the parts.

If you really are trying to get it off your hands id suggest looking around at classic truck forums and see if anyone is interested in purchasing an original truck that needs some TLC. A lot of baby boomers are looking for these kind of vehicles. The good news is they aren't looking at them so much as investments but more of a way of reconnecting with their childhood. It also means they wont mind spending a bit more because they aren't trying to make a quick profit.
