Sign In oh yeah this thing is way different. main difference(on the outside) seems to be what seems to be called the climate controlled choke... I know I might be dealing with jet issues and what not. Also there is way less ports than the carb that is currently on the car. This one is a Carter YF. Old one doesn't have any sort of brand on it. I'm assume the gas line must be the port above the bowl. What goes into the choke/skinny round thing connected to the throttle lever? My currently carb doesn't have this. Sign In Our shop has dealt with guaranteed carburetors and so far we'd had good luck with them. We found out they use an old I-6 mule to test their carbs on. The last couple we got fired right up and needed very little adjustment. It's really important to be sure that your engine has good compression and no vacuum leaks going on if you want the carb to work as it is intended. If the engine is worn out, you'll never get the carb to work correctly. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
