I found your post from 5yrs ago and see you got little help. I have the same issues and desires for my '36. Did you ever get any help in solving your lock issues? If so, I would be glad to hear from you on possible solutions.

You noticed that thread was 5 years old please just refer to old threads not post on them. If you wish go back and click on user name what worked or didn't now 5 years later see what he/she says in a PM see if they are still here? OMG, pre-war depression era cars good luck if looking for NOS for exact fit parts or whole units or real good clones now IDK how many models of GM vehicles used similar hardware for all this stuff and of course it matters for exact fit,
