Radiator was just replaced, it still overheats. Air has been released from the system. Heater blows hot so I didn't think it was the thermostat (temperature control valve) not opening up, but the thermostat has been replaced and it still overheats. There isn't any water in my oil, so the water pump seal is still good. (Water pump runs off of the timing gear. When the seal goes bad it dumps water into the crank case) The car is running smoothly so I don't doesn't appear that the timing has jumped. If the heater is on full blast, the car will not over heat. The temperature gauge doesn't register the car is getting hot, but the gauge works as it registers from cold to operating temperature. There isn't any steam coming from the tailpipe from a head gasket leak. The cooling fans are working. The over flow cap has been replaced. Not sure if the catalytic converter is plugged, but the car has power. Not sure if the TPS or wiring is bad.
