1989 chev. p/u clock radio adjustment

can anyone explain how to set the clock on a standard 1989 chev. p/u radio. i've tried everything i can think of.

With car on or at least in accesory mode, shut the radio off. Hit the "Set" button then adjust time and minutes using the "seek" and "scan" buttons and when done I think You hit set again. Good luck, Tom Greenleaf
