My car is a 1995 Honda Accord, It shifts into all gears however once it reaches the torque converter lockup, it shakes (around 50mph) how do I stop this, what is the problem with it???PirateFrown

I'm not, by any means, an advocate for additives, but I understand that there is an additive for TCC shudder that works quite well. This does not mean to ignore normal maintenace as having the transmission regularily serviced. Most parts stores and transmission shops should carry it, but user beware!

To add: When was the last time this trans had an oil and filter change?

IMO - forget additives and change it to approved sythetic trans fluid with new filter and you might buy some good time with it. Transmissions are a wearing item and don't last forever. Degraded oil/fluid just aggrevates the operation which requires proper fluid pressure from a front pump that no doubt is weaker now and bubbles in fluid or the shallacing efffect of age mess things up - again IMO,
