1995 T-Bird Starts wont shut off	Sign In

like in the title i have a t-bird 95 3.8L v6 that i bought a new ignition switch for i put it in and it still wont shut off. it all started afew days ago when i it was jamed and would not let me turn my car off so i forced it. i know that was wrong but got a little angry at it. now im not sure what i can do to fix it. i would really appreciate the help ty. only way i can get it to shut off it to disconnect the battery and altinator.

There is a sliding rack inside there that connects to the electrical ignition switch and they break a lot. It is a small part but a major job to replace.

Dude.....That is such a bad idea......You're gonna wind up spiking your PCM.....

Pull a fuse, trip the inertia switch, take the vacuum line of the brk booster, anything but pulling a battery cable off while the car is running....

here the parts needed for the repair . thier dealer only . I also would not recommend a DIY person attempt this.
