Hi everyone, I was just driving down the road about 2 weeks ago and I noticed a light noise that seemed to be coming from the right side near the wheel well. It has gotten progressively worse since then. The best way to describe it is when we were kids and used to put cards in the spokes of the tires on our bikes. It seems to happen each time the wheel rotates so going down the highway is much faster than a parking lot, for example. Anyone ever heard of anything like this? Thanks much. Emily

Yes, it's usually when something is rubbing on the tire. Look at the wheel from outside and underneath. Sometimes the inner fender well comes loos for some reason and rubs on the tire or splash shields from underneath get torn off. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Some ideas to add: Take hubcap (if used on this) off and refasten wheel - if noise gone that was it. Another cause is the dust shield for the brakes got bent but not consistant with your desciption exactly, T

Hi All, Just thought I would reply and let you know, it was a wheel hub bearing that had gone bad.
