How much will replacing a valve cover gasket set me back?

Unfortunatly I don't have the tools to take this own myself. I have had an oil leak in my car for awhile but have not been able to nail down where it was coming from. It is a 2001 Lexus IS 200, 2.0, 1988 cc with about 137,000 miles on it.
I stated in a previous thread that I had to top it up with oil about 7 or 8 months after servicing it. I just topped it up last month...I just checked my oil yesterday and saw that it was a little low again. So I got some degreaser, cleaned the engine then drove it around a bit to see if I could pin point the leak. Looks like it is coming from my Valve cover to me. I did some looking online and I find several "rocker cover gaskets" for my car but no Valve cover gaskets, are they the same thing?
How much should I expect a garage to charge to replace this gasket?

Don't believe that vehicle is sold here in the states, so can't give you any kind of estimate. Call around some of the repair shops in your area and get some quotes.
Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Thing is, I am looking around the internet, trying to find the gasket I need...but can't seem to find one called a "valve cover Gasket" or a "Head cover gasket" I am finding something called a "Rocker Cover Gasket" Is this the same thing?

Yes - Rocker cover or valve cover mean the same more common to call it a valve cover gasket unless some whole other design.
Ex: For a 2001 Toyota 1.8 might be the same as your Lexus? Can't know they don't sell that here but called it a "Rocker Cover Gasket" in parts look up and Valve Cover Gasket set with spark plug seals showed nicely anyway. $19.99US > here's the picture if it shows, may not?

It showed for me. Now how much to install I can't guess for your specific car what is in the way to do that for how much time, times the labor rate and the shop buys the parts (normally unless otherwise agreed on) and probably doubles the price to you and will suggest an oil change for having it apart. So far it seems like you are only guessing this is the problem trying to diagnose it yourself instead of just letting a shop take care of it in the first place just ask for a quote to me means the total price of the job,

Let me make this another post, same thread. YOU said you aren't going to fix it and the web is screwing you up and does more and more. Rather than try to price out anything why not find out who or what shops have the best reputation that will work on this and also diagnose what the problem is. It's a trade to do just that when you notice something needing to be done.
Again - what if it isn't that and you ask for a valve cover gasket job anyway and it doesn't solve the issue and never was the cause? Then it's becoming YOUR fault.
Ask for new headlights and you'll get them even if not the problem as an example,

Well I mean there MIGHT be another oil leak on the car...I don't claim to be a master mechanic but It is relatively obvious that it is leaking a lot of oil from the valve cover gasket. I took a couple of photographs...even if this isn't the only oil leak, it is leaking a lot of oil from this gasket...I need to replace it. However, since the only real side effect of this is leaking oil, as long as I can keep up with the oil lose, there is not real need to change it...at the moment I am having to top up once a month with oil which a lot of people would say isn't too bad...but I use to only have to top up once a year between changes so the leak is getting worse. I posted another thread about synthetic oil and I was worried about this very thing. I just spent 375 Euro on this car...it is something I want to get done but I am just trying to wait. I found a mechanic here in town that will do the job for 200 Euro if I provide the gasket. Plus, based on research I have done, this is a very common problem with this engine and is something that most people have to have replaced.

2nd picture shows an oil leak at what I'd call a valve cover gasket. Trouble is it could be the "result" of a problem not the cause is my point. Some leak simply because of a broken hose to a PCV inside of engine builds up pressure instead of a slight vacuum as intended.
If just that gasket alone for some reason out of the blue is the cause all by itself I'd be surprised but could be. How long for that one?
Guess: Time to take everything out of the way such that it lifts right up not totally sure maybe a chargable 1/2 hour by the books? Then check for a crack in it or if it's true with a straight edge as some can warp if anyone for some reason overtightened those that being alloy would be wrecked and now getting costly.
That's why you show just what you see in second picture to a real mechanic and ask how much and would that fix it seeing all the other things about the car in person gives you a quote. It's possible it's just that but you should know,
