Hi. I am the daughter of the late owner of PLYDO. I have all the parts from his old buisness and I'm clueless about it. I was hoping someone, anyone could lead in the right direction as to what I could do with them. Thank you.

I have no idea what PLYDO even is. We are all in the US.

Re: PLYDO Sign In

Sorry for your loss first off:
Anrea - What type of parts does this "PLYDO" have? Assorted car parts or a specific brand.
You may have lots of assorted hurdles I can't know just some clue of some things I've witnessed when in the case I speak of was sole owner/proprietor of a car parts store and died unexpectedly.
His daughter failed to just run the store not really into the biz didn't work out so in time it was basically auctioned off to the customers who frequented the store first.
If you have a list or regulars ask about this. If a competitor is practical maybe ask about a total buy out all or nothing.
I'm sure it's about the same that parts for whatever are rated as to how popular they are. Might be easy to sell off just one type of common item and others take time or ordered as need if less popular not kept in stock. Need to know which is which in groupings or hire it.
It's personal and unique to the exact biz and inventory there now - must be. I think I'd start with asking the customers if they are willing to make an offer on ALL of at least a type of parts such as ALL electrical, all mechanical separated perhaps to suspension parts on to all the other plain "stuff" -- nuts and bolts, clamps, oils fluids, mud flaps or whatever then sell off way under priced like an out of biz sale and donate or give away what's left.
Unfortunately if you knew the prices if nothing was wrong and biz still running you also need to know how much the dealer price was and what the markup was set at for certain items.
Can't be easy on you - sorry for you any which way it's tough to clear out a biz and everything goes at some price hopefully but expect some will never sell so need to find who will take it!
T
