Re: SES light Sign In

Hmmm? No blinking! I believe the first series is to say it can communicate, then whatever if anything that is stored on OBDIs. Perhaps try unplugging the TPS or something and see if that will throw a code on purpose as a test for the hook up.

Is it running properly with no funny smells out exhaust? Again - I think if for some reason it can't communicate you would get a light just for that even without a problem?

Brother's car, brought it by yesterday. Wanted me to take a look, says it has been running fine. Good looking little car, clean as a pin with 130k on it.

That is an early OBD II system with an OBD I connector....... Great idea....huh

It will take a scanner with a special GM adaptor to read, paper clips don't work on this one.

Ya always gotta be different.......don't ya CH.....Wink

Re: SES light Sign In

Sidom is correct. We had to buy one in 97. Dealer is usually the only one that has one. Might be able to borrow one.

Yep! Story of my life! You can't begin to imagine. Leased mineral rights 4 years ago, drilling all around me. Natural gas EVERYWHERE- my place included. They drilled a water well on my place some years back, gas coming out of the hole made more noise than the drilling rig! To this day, my neighbor wants me to light a match & drop it down the well-don't think so scooter! Still they won't set a rig on my place. Off to the dealer he goes. Thanks guys.
