They called to say that I needed new break pads and break fluid and we're trying to charge almost £400. I bought this car brand new so very much doubt these jobs need doing. Because I said no to the work the garage will now not stamp my log book. You have the right to refuse any jobs if you do not feel the need for the job is genuine. Don't be afraid to ask for them to show you on your vehicle what is going on. Most of the time you being shown what is wrong by the mechanic answers a lot of questions.
