Valve Help Sign In

I am needing to replace the intake valves on my D15A2, and want to know if I absolutely need to replace the stem seals?

You should never reuse valve seals

Because my intakes are bent but the exhausts are fine.

timing belt snapped? Valve seals are cheap. Pulling the head back off because it smokes on take off isn't cheap.

They come with the head gasket set anyway and the machine shop will install them when they replace the valves.

I don't see that even being possible. It would certainly be a fatal mistake.
