Help Help Help!! The headlights on my 2009 pontiac g3 wave shorted out. The highbeam indicator would appear and would dim in and out. I found the culprit to be the headlight connector had melted causing a disconnection. Apparently the HB indicator on like that is also an indicator that the headlights are being grounded through the high beams? I cleaned the connections up and hooked them back up and for 3 months worked fine. the light went out. Then last week the right high and low bean went out and the highbeam indicator reappeared, but was faded. Now the left headlight is out too and the indicator is on again and stays on. I cut the old melted connectors wires and installed new connectors. even bought new bulbs. Hooked it all back up and the HB indicator light is on still. When I turn the lights on one turn (which should be the low beam) the high beam comes on. When I turn one more turn (which should be high beam) the lights dim. Dimmer than the low beams should be. Also when I flash the Highbeam the lights dim the same. Any ideas? But I've checked 20 times and its wired the exact way the old ones were. If it were only that simple. Thanks for replying!
