Hard to say. Gonna have to pull it apart to fix it, so youll probably find it then. If you have that big of a leak, its going to be obvious when you get back in there. Did something get pinched in between head and block? Are the heads warped? Mating surfaces are clean and not pitted? New head bolts? Torqued correctly?

If it's pouring out on the ground, then you have a very big mistake somewhere that should be very obvious when you take it apart. Wrong gasket? not seated on dowels? Did you send the heads out to a machine shop to be inspected and resurfaced? You can't simply drop a new gasket in there.
