6.0 engine is there any good product out there to stop the main rear seal oil leak , before i spend about $400 on repair. i have tryed no leak oil stop, an lucas oil stop no results thanks

Lucas products are not my favs for snake oil which rarely work or at worst makes things worse. Most are just hopeful marketing. If seal is torn somehow a replacement can be the fix. If crank bearings are worn it won't last unless they have some new type seal that I'm unaware of. IMO - a new seal should slow it down but as said - for how long is unknown to me anyway.

Suggest quitting any snake oil fixes. Worse is different junk may fight with each other and just mess the whole show up,

The only way to fix a leak is with the right parts. If the leak sealer products actually worked NAPA would just quit stocking gaskets and get it by the case. The truck is worth it to you I would get it fixed properly. Like Tom says, could cost big in the long run and a "cheap" fix isn't always in the long run

i tried bar leak rear main sealer and it work for now. thanks for your advice.

Can't argue if it worked. Post back in a bit and let the world know something actually worked like that but I'm worried it may be temporary - if not let everyone know and it would depend on why it was leaking too so nothing would be a cure for all.
