[crazy] the horn, auto lamp sensor, and cruse controll arnt working! a certain car shop stole my manual for and 89' lincoln town car. now i checked all fuses so it must be the receptor, i need a diagram!! any help?[email]

Looking right at the orig 89 TC manual. PM me if you want to buy it - for real.

Horn is position #16 yellow 20 amp inside car. Lowest to the right.

Headlights is on switch itself - nasty sucker to get to. If they just don't stay on high beams (wicked common) it could be the switch in steering column or the sensor behind rear view mirror.

Speed control - position 6 yellow 20 amp - first 20 amp fuse middle top. Cruise usually quits because wires pull out of brake light switch plug - if so get a used one and splice it in very well with a bit more wire - they were too short on wire.

Check fuses with a light not just looks.

Seriously - I'm parting out an 89 Town Car over the Summer for two others I have. Parts just for the shipping and aggrevation of packing them up. Sensor for headlights is unknown and was hit or miss for ages. Both others are funky also and will swap out the switch for non automatic dimming as it's a PITA with ALL CARS THAT HAVE THAT STUPID FEATURE! These don't manual override execpt for low beam only - arggh!

I'm keeping window motors, lock motors, alt and other common stuff to these. Int is brown cloth and all but driver's door panel pad is about perfect. Steering wheel looks it's miles - 215K or so. My car for six years before rust out.

Two OE new Michelin spare tires and full size wheels. One "W" one "M" (call for exact match if fussy) Obsolete new.

Engine + trans known orig but not worth it now. Rear diff orig but I can't ship that.
