i have not done anything yet its leaking on passenger side about middle of pan. Right above the pan there is a plug with a bunch of wires coming out of it. Fluid is leaking from under plug. It only starts to leak after car is shut off. And it sprays like its pressurized. I dont understand why it dont leak the whole time. Please help going through a lot of fluid. 94 s10 blazer 4.3 vortec 4x4

Sounds like you may have a freeze plug rusted out. Don't drive it that way or you are risking your engine.

Found some neat pics - hope they show.........

Some are so hard to get at you about need to pull the engine!

Been my experience if one is rusted out the others aren't much better.

There are ligit fixes - the best is copper and screws to tighten. OK - that fixes ONE and you hold your breath others aren't right behind.

Can work - a rubber one not my fav but could buy you some time. Those look like this...........

The better one for a tough spot looks like this...........

I've manage one of that type INSIDE without removing old and it worked.

OE ones are dirt cheap if you can get at it to replace and those look like this........

That would be a whole set.

If cold where you are you can get a ZERO pressure radiator cap a quick way to slow the bleeding but you have to fix it right.

Sad - But I wouldn't keep and old car that needed them all unless this is in remarkable shape and bite the bullet and do them all,

Yep, where there is one leaking, there are many more not far behind.

Just once I've seen them and not all of them rusted from outside in but most were from inside out by the looks in the hole of the water jackets etc. It really could be fatal for that engine cost wise almost all labor and plenty of it as we know,
