When exiting my truck I catch a faint gas odor. Nothing appears to be leaking. Tank & pump changed, fuel lines back to front replaced with filter, filler cap holds pressure, no odor under hood.
Suggestions?

Suggestion? Yes - we find it!
How is possibly real tricky if tank is new may not easily show a trail of evidence nor other new parts. Try - mirrors and run finger UNDER all fuel carrying lines new or not for the slightest dampness. It doesn't take much at all to make odor - trust me been there done that with near always rusted crap - tanks, filler necks - any of it.

This should have had flare nut connections to some may not now if a lot is new - check just anyway. No rubber lines on pressure line if so I think it's legal if you use "fuel injection" clamps and rated line done right zero use (IMO) of compression fittings vs use of real flares where required.
New stuff has places to fail. Gasket for fuel pump/sender and fuel neck rubber as used just must be right.
Other: Do NOT overfill fuel tanks in much of anything I knew where you lived the temp swings are everywhere too but as bad here the vapor expands wildly so does liquid fuel it's nuts.

Keep looking if needed an A/C "sniffer" for refrigerant gasses can find vapor leaks with hydrocarbons! IDK if you want to pay for one though if this remains elusive.

If just this once and you did overfill it and know you did it can purge up front as liquid and you get a check engine light that may just go away when it copes with that after driving out and burning up fuel it rightfully should.

Last ditch? Get help to find it up overhead fully check everything to do with fuel new or not and don't quit till you find and fix it.

Most important and can suk depending is do NOT park it in a closed garage till certain it's taken care of!

Sorry for a second post: Once in a blue moon it WASN'T YOUR vehicle if parked with others? If you never smell it again could be just that, Tom

You may have to do your looking with the engine running as it evaporates so quickly it will be dry by the time you inspect it.
