'Cuda Question Sign In

I have a 1965 Plymouth Barracuda with a 273 Commando in it. What type of muffler would you suggest for a low growl sound and a slow "RAPPING" sound when putting the pedal to the floor?

With engine running, I suggest an "expandable" one

Re: 'Cuda Question Sign In

Been a while but Cherry Bomb used to make a muffler called "Cherry Bomb Q" which was exact fit and street legal. It wasn't real loud but had some tone to it. Glass packs aren't street legal here anyway.

-------------- Just looked and couldn't find one by that name but Maremont was the maker,

i have the same car, formula s, first thing you want to do is duel it out, mine wasnt, then put two cherry bomb muflers into the mix,its a deep throaty rumble and sounds great idling around as well as gettin into it,most people think its a bigger motor because of the sweet sound,if interested,we can exchange pics.make it a great weekend.Craig
