So I have a 2008 SuzukiSX4. It gets better it’s got 263,000 miles on it and it’s been rock solid dependable for a long time. As of now it needs a wheel bearing a paint job and a through tune up. I also dented the hood and the left front fender a little. Give me an honest opinion … fix it make it look good and use it or let it go. Interested in what everyone is thinking on this one.

The very first piece of info you need is a complete compression test to find out if the engine is basically healthy.
Next, was the timing chain changed and when.

You have to remember, every piece of that car has 263K miles on it. That means the transmission, the transaxle and all the suspension.

If you don't want to be throwing good money after bad bail out now before the big expenses roll in.

The paint job alone would exceed the value of the car.

It's been good to you already so no tears of this one.

if you've really like this and they are popular around you, how much is another EXACT driveline to buy?

IF in to it and room use it for parts for another.

How is the rest of this - interior parts, dash, seating and assorted items as Hammer said the whole thing has gone that far.

#1 killer to machines, vehicles in my area is rust scene marks "Game Over" as in a Pin-Ball machine "put another quarter in it" type thing.

It's worth $ in parts to just bail out if not a fav vehicle to you cash in and find another hope you do as well with it miles wise IF YOU STILL POUND miles like this you may find older is easier than newer is my forecast just too many dumb required junk that will fail that has nothing to with if they move at all as transportation for your expected needs now forward?
