HELP ME DECIDE WHAT TO DO :) Sign In

I own 2002 Toyota Solara that is sitting at the shop for an accident that happened recently. The passengers side is pretty beat up, slight radiator leak, and damaged windshield. The driver side is in nearly perfect. The engine has no damage and is a V6. Do you think it would be worth it to try and sell it to someone who would part it out, or just get the about $300 for the whole car. Any suggestions are appriciated! Thanks

You really should get some professional appraisals of....... cost to fix, book value in perfect condition and the core value of it in the condition it is now. It near has to be worth more than $300 bucks. I can get 1/2 that well advertised locally for any whole car in any condition just for the metal content and free pick up,

What you need is a valuation of it as it stands now. Insurance companies do that all the time so I would contact your agent for a place - plus they may know places to buy on the spot.

Private sale thru web seems like Craigslist.com is popular as any lately at least near me. Take plenty of pics.

Search out your own car can give you an idea on valuations too. Good luck,

Right on, thanks, that's actually where I was going to try. Just didn't know if it was a waste of time.
