Heat Problem Sign In

I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty Sport , i noticed about 2 weeks ago my heat will only work when i am on the gas pedal. So it blows cold air any other time since its cold and winter here it would be nice to have some heat
I also noticed a little AFTER that my oil light has been coming on , but its only coming on when i stop confusing to me maybe they are related if anyone has a clue ty for a response

Re: Heat Problem Sign In

Hmmm? Both at about the same time. First thing is make sure (hope you have already) that coolant is full at radiator and check oil level plus see if it's got coolant evidence in it or anything unusual.

Does it run properly? Is idle speed correct? Oil viscosity too thick - any other clues? I'm struggling for a common problem to cause both issues. Do tend to the oil pressure and check that with a gauge no just counting on any gauge or light from the vehicle,

T
