The oil warning light on my Ford Ranger doesn't seem to work. I know of one other similar case. Has anyone else had the same problem?

?? Just a bulb or the sending switch perhaps. I don't know of this as common to any particular vehicle. Key on engine off should light the warning lights. Do others work?
