Hello to all just got a 56 Ford......was my first car at 16. This one needs total restoration but is all here. The engine was replaced with a 1960 292 y block.It runs and moves but the carb is leaking needs a kit.This is a 2 barrel which it is my understanding in 1960 this is the only way they came Ford had bigger engines and was looking for better economy out of the detuned 292. The only markings on this carb are ECG my old time parts guy says there should be more numbers.Since this is the only carb they had for 60 292's I figured how hard can it be to find the kit sad when even the old pats guys got to know what color the car is and does it have chrome muffler bearings before they can get the one and only carb kit for this application.......

Can you post some pictures of your car and carb? Curious to see what you got. I can see RT drooling.

Just took a look around. Whole carbs & Holley replacements are out there. Just how is this one leaking? You probably have either or both a soaked float(s) or dirty needle valve. A maybe that you could clean it up, shake the float(s) to see if gas is inside. Not so sure you can find just floats but a maybe if so.
However and whatever you find to solve this I do suggest if not used about daily to park it with fuel run dry. May or may not have a shut off or could put one in line. Freaking age is enough but now alcohols in fuel cause problems. Have a '48 (other anything) and run it dry and behave later by doing that,

Choose a site like "minipics.com" or Photobucket.com and post link or pic from there to here works. That or "Google Images" search you can find almost exactly what you have. Just what I did on a guess for above pics,

It leaks from the accelerator pump bad enough to stain the intake manifold don't want her to catch fire. Just looking for a cheap way out should have the garage dried in by the end of the month then she moves indoors to be torn down for restoration. thanks for the tips

I'd need to look right at it for this leak. If that is where fuel bowl finds its way to leak so be it. Gasket to direct accelerator pump into throttle body only or who knows for now?
IMPORTANT! Pay attention of course. Have proper extinguisher on hand or at least baking soda. If fire it should go out with engine off all depending on how much fuel has pooled perhaps somewhere.
DO NOT PARK THIS IN CLOSED GARAGE ESPECIALLY WITH A POSSIBLE ABUNDANT FUEL LEAK! Open hood and look, smell before starting. A leak higher than fuel tank should not continue to empty out and pumping is only while engine is turning. This is too important to pay attention to.
Family emergency at my end so may not be close to fast for any more ideas/info -- others here to help too,

Thanks for the info found it on the chard pic matches it a Ford 2100 thank you to all for the help. I will pull the card tomorrow take it to a buddies to vat thanks again.
