What would be the difference in mpg between a 33x13.5 tire and a 35x12.5 tire? What about a 33x13.5 vs 33x12.5?

Thanks in advance

Re: Tires and mpg Sign In

We can't tell you what the fuel mileage difference would be. There are too many other factors. It is a taller tire so it would create a slightly higher gear ratio which may improve mileage while cruising but hurt it in low speed acceleration. It would have less power under acceleration. The rim width will effect the height slightly also.
