Help...I have a 1939 chev.sedan with a 350 in it. lately i have been having problems cooling. I have installed a new high flow water pump and thermostat and flushed the cooling system,also installed a new electric cooling fan. I run about 220to250 degrees on the the highway. I am running a new 180 degree thermostat. Thanks for any and all help

Custom stuff: Airflow is the issue. Is the radiator in place in original position of the body of the vehicle? The forces or air need to enter the grille of course and routed thru the radiator and may need shrowding work to direct air. Sometimes at speed air is forced underneath which creates a pressure problem in engine compartment requireing a air dam like thing down low which creates a vacuum under engine bay for incoming air to escape.
Just thoughts of some possibilities with the high speed not cooling properly,
