I have a 94 Olds Silhouette mini van that is still running great. About a year ago I had the battery replaced and my windshield washers quit working about that time. It has really bothered me so I finally looked under the hood. (Please understand that I know very little about cars) and noticed there was no fluid in the tank so I decided to fill it and then I saw it pouring out the side. When I looked there I noticed on the side of the tank is a place for something to go on....likely a hose. From my research on line it looks like there are also two black things that I believe are the pumps, one for the front and one for the back. There are two hoses just sitting there...one is smaller than the other...and there is a hose connection thing coming off one of the pumps...so my problem is I have no clue how to hook this back up. I know it is very simple if you have ever seen one before but I am new to this. I really hate to take it to the shop as I never get out of there for under a $100.00 and I'm sure it is a 5 minute fix. How can I get a diagram or a picture or any help? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

The hose just pushes onto the nipple. You will just have to figure out which one is front and which one is rear.

OK, I will look again tomorrow in the daylight but it looked to me like I have three "hose" type of things and only one nipple thing. If I can't figure it out maybe I can post a picture. I know it can't be that hard.

thanks for the reply. Will let you know on my success (hopefully)

Yahoooooo! I did it. And I got the back one working too. I am sure those who work on cars at all are rolling their eyes but I open it the hood and have no clue truly. Any way. The hose that was coming off one of the pumps was actually an adapter for the small hose. So then I had two hoses and two places to put them. Easy.

So thank you again for your patience and help. Cost $3 for washer fluid
