Take it to an exhaust shop and get their opinion. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

A lot of people think the loud exhaust makes more power. Truth be told it doesn't. Your car doesn't need a lot of airflow in the exhaust to make power. Many import guys put a muffler on that actually AMPLIFIES the sound beyond what it should be. Sounds like a pissed-off bee with a microphone. The only thing they are accomplishing is irritating everyone else around them and inviting the cops to pull them over and give them a ticket. By all means you can improve on the factory exhaust to make better power, but don't be one of those people with a stock engine who just thinks making it loud and putting a few stickers on it makes it a race car.
