hey i have a 1994 ford tempo, 2 door, little 4 banger, and the cylinder head has cracks near the piston things what could i do to fix it for cheap, cuz thats why we have it but i was thinking using j-b weld ? would it work and for how long??

The only thing you can tpo to repair that is replace the head. You can bring it to a auto machine shop for inspection because sometimes they can be welded but i wouldn't get your hopes up. They usually can't.

It's a crap shot.... about 50% success rate. Too low for me to try anymore, it's just too much work to R&R the head a second time.
If money is a concern and you're doing it yourself, it might be worth the gamble..... Maybe call around to some wrecking yards... compare prices of a used head, cleaning and resurfacing at a machine shop to all the work that needs to be done to yours. If the price is close I would probably go with the used one......
Sidenote..... To answer you other question....don't waste your time with JB weld, it won't last.
