wiper motor Sign In

i just installed a new wiper motor on a 1999 olds silouette. now the wipers cross when they operate. where did i screw up and how do i correct this?

You either have one of the wiper pivots flipped over or the blades are just installed in the wrong position.

ididnt change the wipers they werent fully parked when i took the other motor off. so i pulled them to the fully parked posistion and reattached everything

They have to be out of synch with each other to do that. It's not just a motor problem.

is that at the pivot point where the two are connected or do you remove the say driver side wiper and reinstall it at a different spot?

I don't know what's messed up on yours. I'm not there to see it. I'm just telling you what the possibilities are. Someone has to inspect it to find the problem.
